Beginning of July 2023, I had an opportunity to visit this heart warming "well-being" festival in the town of Uusikaupunki, Finland.
The program of this substance free,
pioneer of well-being festivals looked inspiring. But, the main reason for me was that one of my all-time favourite mantra artists: Mirabai Ceiba was performing here on Friday night!
The Festival ticket included campsite stay. However, because the weather looked unpredictable and we wanted to have early nights (the program went on till late at night and I have never been a night owl 🦉 ). we booked ourself into a farmhouse accommodation 30 min away from the festival.
Throughout the 3 days we enjoyed a variety of great workshops and concerts. Such as : yoga for couples, breath work, tantra for couples, shamanic journey, laughter yoga and much more. Of course, the high light for me was to see, listen and chant together with the beautiful couple: Mirabai Ceiba.
The atmosphere in this festival was warm, accepting and rejuvenating. Simply a celebration of life and love! Food stands were serving variety of delicious vegan foods and the substance free atmosphere made the festival safe and fun for the children too. The festival never felt too crowded and we managed to get into all our first choice workshops except one (this was only because we were too late).
I would definitely recommend The High Healing Festival for anyone interested in thorough body-mind-spirit well-being. Wether you are going alone, with a friend, partner or the whole family. The Natural High Healing Festival offers something for everybody in the middle of Finnish forest 🌳.
